Not quite yet

The seminar on starting your own small business that I was going to yesterday was cancelled due to the speaker needing emergency dental work. It has been rescheduled for Aug. 8th and I'm registered for that secession. In other business news I am getting ready to drive to Chicago to deal cards for a friend that owns his own small business, Elite Casino Productions. They put on casino themed parties. It's good money but sporadic work and is usually fun.

Karmic kick in the Butt!

I don't have any excuses anymore. I was working full time, in school part time and trying to spend time with my wonderful wife and adorable daughter as well as my friends. I was fired a little over a month ago and took the final exam in the last class for my Bachelors degree last week so it's time to get going with the next stage in life. The plan we have come up with over the last few years is for me to open a gaming and hobby shop after I finished my degree. We had planned on it being a little slower of a transition than this. Well, sometimes life gives you a karmic kick in the ass to get you to do what you really aught to be doing. I'm going to a seminar tomorrow that will help walk me through the process of getting my business license so I can get going in the right direction.
