Star Wars miniatures Attack on Endor

This is the latest release from WotC for the Star Wars CMG. It retails for $20 and includes:
  • 1 AT-ST Scout Walker figure, newly posed and in scale with other Star Wars Miniatures collectable figures

  • 3 Imperial figures: Scout Trooper, Stormtrooper, and Stormtrooper Officer

  • 2 double-sided, fold-out battle maps depicting the Endor combat zone and others

  • Full-color game stat cards

  • Scenarios booklet

This miniature is very nice and I'm going to keep one for myself. I have quite a few in stock and some on Ebay if anybody is interested. I know it would probably sell better if it included a few Ewoks that had been trampled but I think Lucas put a stop to that idea.

Blind faith

"A picture (or in this case a bumper sticker) is worth a thousand words". Sometimes it despairs me and sometimes I'm proud of the fact that I've voted in every Presidential election I was eligible for but never for the man that was confirmed to the office.

Corporation standing up for property rights!

I heard about this earlier today and found it very heartening that a mega corp would stand for something other than profit. In a press release issued by the bank, BB&T Chairman and Chief Executive Officer John Allison, said, "The idea that a citizen's property can be taken by the government solely for private use is extremely misguided, in fact it's just plain wrong. One of the most basic rights of every citizen is to keep what they own. As an institution dedicated to helping our clients achieve economic success and financial security, we won't help any entity or company that would undermine that mission and threaten the hard-earned American dream of property ownership." For the full article go here.

If more companies acted as socially responsible as they did, there would be a lot less need for government interference.

I give this company an "Uncommon Sense Rating" of 8.

Even Druids like Emerald What?

The Emerald Nuts comercial during the Super Bowl was great. Go here and click on the "big game spot" if you haven't seen it yet.

Is that supposed to be Oz under the stairs?
