Hit number 1000

I had hit number 1000 on my blog over the weekend. OK, so that is really a rather small number but it's the little things that keep me going sometimes. Thanks for everybody's support over the last several months.

War Drums miniatures

Here are a few of the miniatures available in the new War Drums set from WotC.
This is Warduke, a foe from several OLD D&D modules. I think the modules he is from are probably older then most the people playing today.
Mindflayer anyone?

Who ever thought of making a girallon (basicly a 4 armed dire gorilla) Fiendish is certainly a bit demented.

New WotC releases for Dungeons and Dragons

WotC has released several new books for D&D in the last couple of weeks. The 2 from last month are Tome of Magic: Pact, Shadow & Truename magic and Power of Faerun.

There are 3 releases hot off the presses for this month. The first is Complete Psionic. Next is Voyage of the Golden Dragon which is for the Eberron campaign setting. Lastly, they have another of their Fantastic Locations supplements, Fields of Ruin which is designed primarily for the D&D miniatures game but is also a stand alone RPG adventure. If you are interested in miniatures from the new War Drums set or any of the other sets, let me know as I have a large selection to pick from.

I also have all of the above mentioned books in stock if anybody is interested in them. I'm planning on posting reviews of most of the above in the next week or so.

Time Date stamp

Last evening at 2 minutes and 3 seconds past 1AM the time date stamp would have read 01:02:03 04/05/06. But that is only if you live in the US, if you live in the reat of the world you have to wait until the 4th of May at just past 1AM to have the same view.

Fear of Girls

I was cleaning out my bookmarks and found this video. I know it is posted on several other blogs that I frequent but I just had to post it for any that have not seen it yet. For those of us that were gamer geeks before it was "cool" this brings back some memories and a few nightmares. I remember the "aren't all people that play D&D satanists" talk with my mom when I was about 13. (Gods! That was over 20 years ago) I guess that dates me a bit. Guys like this are why some of the stereotypes about gamers are still out there. I certainly have met more than a few like this in my 25+ years of gaming.
